eStatus Screen Element Reference

Describes key screen fields in eStatus reports.

Screen Element Description
AAA Error Code (column) AAA Volume Report

Hover over the AAA error code to view the code description.

AAA Error Count (column) AAA Volume Report

Displays the number of request transactions containing the AAA error code.

Select the numerical value in the column to view the transaction details

Add Column Remit Reconciliation Summary Report

Select columns from the drop-down to add to the standard columns already displayed.

+ Add Filter (action button) Advanced Filter Screen

Select to add an advanced filter parameter. You can add a maximum of two advanced filters. Select this again to view the specific advanced filters. Applied filters show as labels next to Advanced Filter.

Adjustment (column) Remit Summary Report

Displays the cumulative adjustment amount. When navigating to the Claim Detail from the Remit Summary report, the adjustment data displays at the procedural level.

Advanced Filter (action button) Select to further refine the filter criteria. Records displayed are a combination of main and additional filter parameters.
Allowed (column) Remit Summary Report

Displays the maximum amount that the payer will pay for a procedure.

Attachment Status (Advanced filter option) Claim Reports
Provides the ability to filter claims by the following values:
  • All
  • Pending
  • Uploaded
  • Submitted to Clearinghouse
  • Accepted by Clearinghouse
  • Accepted with errors by Clearinghouse
  • Rejected by Clearinghouse
  • Submitted to EDI
  • No Attachments

Attachment Status can also be saved as part of custom reports.

Avg Payment Time (Days) (column) Unpaid Claims Tracker Report

Displays the last 60 days historical average based on remit check date by payer.

Cancel (action button) Select when a report is taking too long to load. The message, Requested action has been cancelled. Kindly refine your search to proceed with the intended action displays confirming the action.
Charge Number (field) (GM only) Claim Inquiry-Claim Detail

Displays the associated charges for the Claim ID. If more than four, + 'x' more hyperlink displays and clicking on it shows all the associated charges.

Claims Affected (column) Warnings Received Report

Displays the number of claims having that warning.

Select the number to view claims having that warning.

Claim Paid Amount (column) Remit Rconciliation Summary Report

Displays the Paid to Provider amount as shown on the respective split EOB files.

Even for non split EOB file, Claim Paid Amount displays the amount shown under Paid to Provider field in the EOB.

Clean Claim % (column) Clean Claim Report

Displays the percentage of clean claims in graphical format:

  • Red - Percentages between 0.00 - 92.99.
  • Yellow - Percentages between 93.00 - 96.99.
  • Green - Percentages between 97.00 - 100.
Count (column) Remit Summary Report

Displays the count for the total number of claim line items. Clicking on the number displays the Claim List Detail for the selected aggregate.

Eligibility Transaction Summary Report

Displays the status count for transaction requests.

CSI Transactions? Payer Transaction Count Report
Select Yes to include the Claim Status Transactions. Two additional columns will then display in the grid:
  • Claim Status Request
  • Claim Status Response
Current Claim Status/Updated By (filter option) Pending Claims for Last 7 Days and Rejected Claims for Last 7 Days

Multi-select the current claim statuses and updated by from the drop-down.

Status default is Pending for Pending Claims report and Rejected for Rejected Claims report.

Updated By default is All for both reports.

Date Selector/Date Submitted (field) All Reports

Depending on which report the date selector displays as Reporting Period or Claim Submitted Date.

Select from the following:
  • Today
  • Day -Enter number of days back to search
  • Week - Enter number of weeks back to search
  • Month - Enter the number of months to search
  • Year - Select the year from the drop-down
  • Date Range - Select a specific range from the following options:
    • Select default dates from the drop-down
    • Enter a Start date and End date using xx/xx/xxxx format
    • Select the calendar icon to pick specific dates
Date Submitted (column) Clean Claim Report

Displays the submit date. Select the date to view the Run Summary for that date.

Delete (action button) User-Defined Reports

Select to delete a user-defined report. Standard reports can't be deleted.

Denied (column) Remit Summary Report , Remit Trend Report and Remit Claim Detail Page

Displays the denied amount at the service level. Hovering over the ToolTip displays how the amount is calculated.

EOB Remit Reconciliation Summary Report and Remit Summary Report

Select to open the EOB split file for the selected claim and view details on how the claim is paid by the payer.

If EOB is archived or unavailable, a message displays, EOB File is archived or unavailable. Please submit a case to EDI Support Team.

Claim Detail - Remittance Information Tab

Claim Robs - Select to open the split EOB file for the selected claim and view details on how the claim is paid by the payer.

Export (action button)
Select to export the search results to Excel.
note: When exporting a claim report, claims in a status of rejected (RJ), show the ANSI Reason and Status Message associated with status RJ only.
Facility Name (column) Claim Reports

Displays the facility name for the selected claim. This also displays in the Claim Details under the Facility Information section.

Favorite (action button) Select to mark a report as a favorite which adds it to the user's Favorite List. The heart then displays as solid blue .
Favorite List (tab) Displays any report you mark as a favorite. You mark a report as a favorite by selecting the heart next to the report name. Both standard and user defined reports can be selected as a favorite.
Filter (action button) Select after entering filter criteria to display results.
Filter (field)

Displays Default if no filters are applied. Hovering over will show the default filters. Default filters are unique to each report.

Displays Applied if filters are selected. Hovering over will show the selected filters.

Filter Options (action button)

Select to expand or collapse the filter criteria. Previous searches are retained and can be added to.

Group By - Payer Name /Payer ID (filter option) Unpaid Claims Tracker Report
Select Payer Name or Payer ID. This determines how the report aggregates the unpaid claims by Payer Name or Payer ID.
note: When Payer ID is selected, Payer Name column is blank.
Hide/Show Graph (action button) Rejection Trend Report and Remit Trend Report

Select to hide the graph from the report and expand the grid display.

Historical Claim Status /Updated By (filter option) Pending Claims for Last 7 Days and Rejected Claims for Last 7 Days

Multi-select the historical claim statuses/Updated By from the drop-down.

Status default is All for both reports.

Updated By default is All for both reports.

Identifier (field) Select one of the following:
  • Claim Number (non-GM)
  • Patient Identifier (GM and non-GM)
  • Charge Number (GM)
  • Claim ID (GM)
note: When using Claim ID to search for charges the label, 'Showing x charges for Claim ID xxxx' displays. The Claim ID displays as a hyperlink which clicking on displays the Charges Summary - Claim Detail screen. The Upload Attachments tab is also available.
Initiate CSI (action button) Select to initiate CSI for single or multiple claims. This action displays only if user has the proper security priviliges. You are only available to initiate a CSI for claim meeting the following criteria:
  • Accepted & remit not received.
  • Acknowledged & remit not received.
  • Other claims will be ignored from CSI.

You can select up to 50 bulk claims to Initiate CSI.

Once initiated and successful, the CSI Response tab becomes available on the Claim Detail screen where claim and service level details are displayed.
Inquiry (tab) Displays the Claims Summary Screen used to search for a specific claim.
Modify Aggregators (action button) Remit Summary and Trend Reports, Rejection Summary and Trend Reports, HCM Flag Summary Report, and HCM Flag Trend Report

Select to change the aggregators you want displayed and change the order in which they appear.

NPI Detail Payer Transaction Count Report

Select Yes to include the NPI. The grid then displays the NPI column.

Operator (field) Advanced Filter Screen

Operators displaying vary depending on report and column.

  • Contains
  • Does not Contain
  • Equals
  • Greater than
  • Lesser than
  • Not Equals
Originating File Name (field) Remit Reconciliation Summary Report - File Information Details

Originating File Name is displayed for those files containing ‘remitupload’ or ‘remit-upl’ in the file name i.e., the files which are part of remit upload. For files which are not part of remit upload, Originating File Name is not shown.

Output (filter option) Select Summary (default) or Detail

Summary view displays claims in typical grid format. Detail view displays all the rows expanded with no option to collapse them and the export action is disabled.

Patient Responsibility (column) Remit Summary Screen

Displays the sum of the deductible and coinsurance. Hovering over the amount display the break out.

Payer (column) Advanced Filter Screen

Displays the Destination Payer ID. Sorting is on the payer ID.

Warnings Received Report

Displays the payers for whom the edit was setup to receive the warning. Select See All to view all the payers for the warning.

Payer ID (filter) Claim Reports

Enter an alphanumeric Payer ID up to 25 characters. This field supports autocomplete searches. You must enter at least three characters for autocomplete to display results.

PLB Reason Code (filter option - Advanced Filter) Remit Reconciliation Summary Report

Select all the standard PLB reason codes that apply under Value.

Reason Category (filter option) Rejection Summary and Rejection Trend Reports
Select the categories to include in the report results. The options are:
  • All
  • Documentation
  • Missing/Invalid Information
  • Credentials
  • Information
  • Eligibility
  • Miscellaneous
  • Coding
  • Authorization
  • Duplicate
  • Timely Filing
  • COB
  • Contractual Adjustment
  • Other Rejections
Recent Claims (column) Inquiry Screen

Defaults to display the last ten claims accessed by the user.

Reference ID (column) Remit Reconciliation Summary Report-PLB Amount Details

Displays the reference ID for the PLB reason code. The ID is a concatenation of the control number and HIC number.

Reference ID (filter options - Advanced Filter) Remit Reconciliation Summary Report

Enter a reference ID using alphanumeric and/or special characters. This field is a concatenation of two fields: Control Number and HIC Number. To search on reference ID with Equals operator, then it needs to be entered as, for example, 20221230 03X89439322-3. 5 spaces after the first ID is important.

Rejections (column) Rejection Summary Report

Displays the count of unique claims. If a claim has five reject messages the count shows as one. Select on the count to display the Claim Report for the select aggregators.

Rejections (filter) Rejection Summary Report
Select:
  • Current - Claims with current status Rejected are included. (Default)
  • Historical and Current - Claims with previous status as Rejected or current status as Rejected are included.
Report List (tab)

Displays report types available (those shown are based on the preference "Product Category' set for each customer in ECAdmin).

Default View

Consists of Search field and two panels:

  • Report List
  • Favorite List
Requeue File (action button) Remit File Report, Remit File Upload Report Remit Reconciliation Report

This action displays under File information if a file is available to be requeued (user must have proper security for it to display).

Reset to Default (action button)

Select to reset the search default values for the report in context.

Save/Update (action button)

Select Save when creating a new user defined report by modifying a standard report. Upon selecting Save, user is prompted to enter a new report name.

Select Update when making changes to a user defined report that you want saved.

Search (field) Reports Panel

Enter partial or full text of report. Reports containing text will display.

Service Location NPI (column) Claim Reports

Displays the service location for the selected claim. This also displays in the Claim Details under the Facility Information section.

Sorting (columns) Select to sort a column in ascending or descending order. Use the CTRL key to select a maximum of two columns for sorting.
Status (column) All Claim Reports Screens

Displays the claim or remit files status.

Displays the status of the claim and a warning or rejected icon (if applicable)
  • - Warning icon - Claims with any status can have warnings. Hovering over, the ToolTip displays, Claim has Warnings
  • - Rejected icon - Claims with a status of Completed or Rejected can fail. Hovering over, the ToolTip displays, Claim has failed.

Eligibility Transaction Summary Report and Eligibility Transaction Detail Report

Displays the status of the request:
  • Active (green dot)
  • Inactive or Mixed (yellow dot)
  • Error (red dot). Hovering over this status displays a description of the AAA03 error code.
  • Pending Response (green dot). This is the status if the report (Summary or Detail) is viewed before a receiving response.
Total Request Count (column) Eligibility Transaction Summary Report

Displays the count of transaction requests for a transaction request date/hour, TPA, Payer and Request Type.

Totals (filter) Run Summary Report
Select:
  • Claim Count - Displays the number of claims in the status and total columns.
  • Dollar Amount - Displays the dollar amount in the status and total columns.
  • Claim Count/Dollar Amount - Displays both in the status and total columns.
Update R/H (action button) (non_PRCN clients only) Remit Reconciliation Summary Report

Select to update the check status. The Update Check Status screen appears allowing you to update the status to R (reconciled) or H (hold). This field is greyed out until a check row is selected.

Update Status (action button) Pending Claims for Last 7 Days, Rejected Claims for Last 7 Days , and Claim Inquiry - Claim Detail

Select to manually update the status of claim to Completed.
