About the Hosted Claims Manager Flag Summary and Trend Reports

Hosted Claims Manager (HCM) provides claims analysis required for submitting clean claims to payers. The HCM Flag Summary and Trend reports allows you to view the claim edits defined for your practice along with the count for each edit for a specific date range. The HCM Flag Summary and Trend Reports is a new report/view that combines data from the legacy Flag Summary for Last Calendar Month and the Flags by Month reports. Both reports function the same way but display different data.

The Summary view displays flag edit data for the last twelve days by default, but can also be filtered by day, week, month, year, and date range. You can also filter on specific flag edit codes or all codes. Selecting Modify Aggregator lets you change the grouped order of the results by either Flag Edit Code or Practice/Group (default). Results display by Practice/Group (default), Count, and Percent. Selecting the practice link, drills down to view the flag edits for your practice, a total edit count and the percentage of the total edits.. Selecting the count link shows the edit flag for the count and you can then drill down to the charge detail by selecting the count link.

The HCM Flag Trend view allows you to see a comparison of flag edits by month for the last twelve months (default). You can filter on Flag Edit Code and Date Range. Date Range filter allows for up to the last twelve weeks and twelve months. Selecting Modify Aggregator lets you change the view of the results by either Flag Edit Code or Practice/Group (default). Results display by Practice/Group (default), and the months or weeks selected in the filter. The Practice/Group and Total columns are sortable. Selecting the practice link, drills down to view the flag edit codes for the practice. Selecting the error count in the month/week columns displays the charge details.
