About Claim Status Inquiry

The Claim Status Inquiry module provides users with valuable information regarding claims that require a status inquiry to be initiated.

The Claim Status Inquiry module provides users with valuable information regarding claims that require a status inquiry to be initiated. It allows users to track the progress and status of their claim status inquiries. Furthermore, it enables users to view the claim status response data received from the trading partner.

The Claim Status Inquiry module helps streamline the process of tracking and managing claim status inquiries. It provides users with a centralized view of the claims requiring attention, their current status, and the ability to access detailed response data from the trading partner.

note: You can only view and search claims for which your user has security access. (Security can be restricted by group, division, billing area, provider, and/or location .) Security fields are added as part of the Advanced Filter. Values that are selected under these security fields are restricted to the values the user has been assigned (in the Customer Admin portal).

The grid displays claims that are received as part of CSV file (from athenaIDX or GM or aPractice) for which inquiry is initiated.

Upon clicking a claim number users are directed to the CSI Response tab on the Claim Detail screen. Claim Status Response if available can be viewed for each of the inquiries initiated by clicking on the inquiry date.
