Manual Reconcile Status Update for Records

If a record is not auto reconciled, the Reconciliation Status displays No. If you have the user privilege, you can manually update Deposit Reconciliation to ERA or ERA Reconciliation to Deposit. Additionally, you can also manually unreconciled a manually reconciled record.

Manually Reconciling a Record

As long as the record is not released, you can flip the status from yes/no or no/yes.

  1. From the ERA View or the Deposit View, select a row or multiple rows to manually reconcile using the check box next to each row.
  2. Select Reconcile.
    The ERA or Deposit Reconcile Status Update screen appears.
  3. Optional: On the Deposit View, select a single row and click Suggest Match..
    The Suggested Match screen appears suggesting possible matches for reconciliation from which to choose.
  4. Enter a reason, up to 250 characters, for changing the status, and optionally add a deposit date.
    note:

    When multiple allowed records are selected, the reason and deposit date are appended to the history for each record.

  5. Select Save.
    note: If any record(s) are already reconciled (status of Yes), an alert message displays stating "status for xxx of xxx selected records can't be altered now, hence will be ignored. Do you want to continue?"
    A green message box appears stating the reconciliation was successful. The Reconciliation Status is updated to Yes. Reconciliation Type is updated to Manual. The Reconciliation History keeps an audit trail of the manual update.

Manually Unreconciling a Record

  1. From the ERA View or the Deposit View, select a row or multiple rows to manually unreconcile a previously manually reconciled record(s) using the check box next to each row.
  2. Select Reconcile.
    The ERA or Deposit Reconcile Status Update screen appears.
  3. Enter a reason, up to 250 characters, for changing the status, and optionally add a deposit date.
    note:

    When multiple allowed records are selected, the reason and deposit date are appended to the history for each record.

  4. Select Save.
    A green message box appears stating the status of the record is set back to not reconciled. The Reconciliation Status is updated to No. The Reconciliation History keeps an audit trail of the manual update.
